# Connect Kraken

Looking to connect your Kraken account with Emma? Follow these step to find out how: 

1. Login to your Kraken account on desktop
2. Navigate to your profile in the top right corner and select **Security** > **API** from the dropdown

3. Click ‘Add Key in the ‘API key management’ section

4. Make sure you select the right permissions to enable sync with Emma:

* Query funds
* Export data
* Query Open Order & Trades
* Query Closed Order & Trades
* Query Ledger Entries

5. Select **Generate key**
6. Copy your API Key & Private Key into Emma (the Private Key is your API Secret)

7. Click ‘Connect’ to start syncing your Kraken account with Emma
