# Create a Pot

| Emma Pots are only available to UK-based customers.

### Creating a Pot

Follow these steps to create a new Pot:

1. Open Emma App 
2. Select the **Save tab**
3. Select **Create new Pot**
4. Choose which type of Pot you want to create
5. Choose a name for your new Pot
6. *Optional: toggle on **I have a goal** to set a* [*Savings Goal*](https://help.emma-app.com/en/article/saving-goals-b3glj2/) *(available on Emma Plus, Pro, and Emma Ultimate subscription plans)*
7. Select **Continue**
8. Choose your new **Pot Icon** and select **Save**
