# CSV Imports

### What is this feature?

CSV Imports let you create or update an offline account by uploading a CSV file.

It’s useful if:

* Your bank isn’t currently supported
* You want to track cash transactions
* You’d like to import historical data from an old account

### What does my CSV file need to include?

Your file must be saved in CSV format and include these three columns:

* Date – the date of the transaction
* Payment Reference – a description such as Tesco, Salary, or Rent
* Amount – the transaction value

Make sure the file has a clear and consistent structure so it can be imported correctly.

### How do I import transactions?

To import a new file:

1. Open the Feed tab
2. Tap +Add
3. Select Offline account
4. Choose the account type
5. Name your account
6. Add a logo if you’d like (optional)
7. Select Import transactions and follow the prompts

### How do I update an existing offline account?

If you’ve already created an offline account, you can upload an updated CSV file at any time.

Existing transactions will not be duplicated. Only new transactions in the file will be added.
