# Delete/disconnect a bank account

| If you want to delete only one account but have other accounts with the same bank you still want to see, [hide the account](https://help.emma-app.com/en/article/hide-or-unhide-an-account-1mkk4lr/) instead.

If you'd like to delete your bank account from the app, follow these steps:

###### Deleting a bank account

1. Go to the **Feed** (main dashboard).
2. Select your profile in the top left corner.
3. Tap the **settings icon** (cog wheel) in the top right corner.
4. Tap on **Account**.
5. Select **Bank connections**.
6. Tap on the bank you'd like to delete.
7. Tap the **settings icon** (cog wheel) in the top right corner.
8. Select **Delete connection**.

|| This will permanently delete all data linked to that connection, and it can't be recovered.
