# Edit your budget



Need to make edits to your budget? Choose what you need to change and follow the related steps below:

### Editing your category budgets or total budget

1. Go to the **Feed** tab
2. Scroll down and select **Budget** (circle chart)
3. Select the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen 
4. Select **Edit Budget**
5. Select which **Category Budget** you want to change, or if you want to change your total budget, select your **Total Budget** 
6. Make the desired changes and select **Save**
7. You're done! 

### Editing your period 

| The **period** is the time between when your budget starts and ends

Modify your period if you want to change your budget to a monthly, weekly or fixed date cycle.

1. Go to the **Feed** tab
2. Scroll down and select **Budget** (circle chart)
3. Select the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen 
4. Select **Edit Budget**
5. Select **Period**  
6. Select your new budgeting period via the drop-down menu at the top of the screen
7. Make the desired changes and select **Save**
8. You're done! 

|| Please note that changes to your budget will apply to all past, current, and future budgets
