# How do I edit my period?


| Your budget period is the time between when your budget starts and ends.


You can change it to a weekly, monthly, fixed date, or variable date cycle. Options such as the penultimate working day, or the last Friday before the last Saturday are also available in the app.

1. Go to the **Feed** tab
2. Scroll down and select **Budget** (circle chart)
3. Select the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen 
4. Select **Edit Budget**
5. Select **Period**  
6. Select your new period from the options that appear
7. Make the desired changes and select **Save**
8. You're done! 

You can also modify your period from the Analytics section.

1. Go to the **Feed** tab
2. Scroll down and select **Analytics** (usually a bar chart)
3. Select the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen 
4. Select your new period from the options that appear
5. Tap **Continue**
6. You're done!

|| Please note that changes to your budget period will apply to all past, current, and future budgets.
