# How long do Pot deposits take?

| Emma Pots are only available to UK-based customers.

###### Setting up Emma Save for the first time

Your first deposit into Emma Save is collected by Direct Debit, so it takes a little longer than a normal transfer — up to 5 working days to reach your Pot.

You can see this as a pending transaction by going to the **Save** tab and tapping on your Pot.

###### Depositing directly into a Pot

If you're depositing directly into a Pot, your first deposit can take a little while to process — from a few minutes to 2 full days if initiated on the weekend. Your subsequent deposits will usually be processed within a couple of hours at most, often within minutes.

###### Moving your Emma Wallet balance to a Pot

If you move funds from your Emma Wallet balance to a Pot, they'll be transferred instantly.

Your first deposit can take a little longer to process — up to 2 full days if made over a weekend. All future deposits are processed within minutes.
