# What are Merchant Budgets?

Merchant Budgets allow you to set budgets for specific merchants in Emma. For example, your favourite shop, your transport provider, or your usual pub🍻

To add a Merchant Budget, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the **Feed** tab and scroll down to **Analytics & budgeting**
2. Tap on **Budget** (circle chart)
3. Select **Merchant**
4. Search for a merchant and tap on the one you want to set the budget for 
5. Enter the budget amount and tap **Save**
