# Why is Emma collecting funds from my bank every week?

If you've noticed weekly transactions labeled "Emma Autosave" on your bank account, don't worry—these are not charges or fees! They're part of your automated savings setup, known as Emma Autosave.

Emma Autosave is designed to help you effortlessly grow your savings by regularly transferring a set amount of money from your linked bank account into your Emma Wallet or your Savings Pots every week. These transactions are fully controlled by you and can be paused at anytime within the Emma app.

| Emma will never charge your account without your explicit permission, and these weekly transfers are always for your benefit—to build your savings automatically!
