How do I add a bank?
Emma can't be used without linking a bank first. The app will ask you to choose a bank during the on boarding process when you first signup. After you successfully signed up, you will be able to add as many banks as you want. Why is my account not updating or missing information?
There are many reasons why you are account might not be updating. The first thing to check is the Accounts page, where all your balances are displayed. If you don't see any error message, just pull to refresh the list to make sure Emma can retrieve your data. Updates take a while, but after it is completed you should see the balances and transactions up to date. Bear in mind, we update your accounts 3-4 times a day in the background. How to unlink a bank
In order to unlink a bank, follow these steps: Click on Settings Click on Account Go to Bank Logins Swipe to delete on the bank you want to remove. Bear in mind, this will delete all the data we have relative to that bank. We won't be able to update it anymore.
How to change account type
Click on Accounts. Select the three dots on top of your account card. Click on "Type". Either select current or savings. You are account will be moved in the right category.
How to change your overdraft limit
Click on the account in Accounts Select the three dots top right corner of the Account view. Click on Overdraft. Edit your overdraft limit. Click on save.
How to hide an account
Click on an account in Accounts. Select the three dots on top of your Account view. Click on hide. The account will be hidden and won't show in any analytics.
How to rename an account
Click on one account in Accounts. Select the three dots on top of your account view. Click on rename. Type in the new name. Click on save.
How do I connect my HSBC account?
In order to connect to HSBC, you need to provide: Username Memorable Answer Password What's my Password? This is normally the final field for the ‘Without Secure Key' route on online banking. It's typically 8 - 30 characters long, containing letters and numbers.
How can I connect my Barclays account to Emma?
The authentication flow supported with Barclays uses the following credentials: Last name Membership number Passcode Memorable word If you are trying to use Pinsentry, we don't support this, not even to generate the Passcode.
