What is my Cardano address?
If you want to add your Cardano wallet to track in Emma, we need you to enter your Cardano address to get your wallet information.
We only request view permissions. This does not give us access to your private keys not the ability to move your funds. This just allows us to display your wallet holdings in Emma 🪙
Your Cardano wallet address starts with "addr1" and is followed by a string of alphanumeric characters. It can be quite long, typically 100 characters or more.
Here's an example format of a Cardano address:
addr1q8f...5ft9wdmsq
To find your Cardano address, open your wallet app (like Daedalus or Yoroi) and go to the "Receive" section, where your address will be displayed.
If you're using a web wallet, log in and navigate to the "Receive" tab to get your address.
For hardware wallets, connect the device, open the Cardano app, and access the "Receive" section.
