What is my Zcash address?

If you want to add your Zcash wallet to track in Emma, we need you to enter your Zcash address to get your wallet information.

We only request view permissions. This does not give us access to your private keys not the ability to move your funds. This just allows us to display your wallet holdings in Emma 🪙

What does my Zcash address look like?

Your Zcash wallet address is a string of characters that starts with "t" for transparent addresses or "z" for shielded addresses. Transparent addresses begin with "t" and are followed by 34 alphanumeric characters, while shielded addresses start with "z" and are usually longer.

Here's an example of a Zcash address:

How do I find my Zcash address?

Open your Zcash wallet app (like ZecWallet or Exodus) and go to the "Receive" section. Your address will be displayed there, and you can copy it.

If you're using a web wallet, log in and navigate to the "Receive" tab to find your Zcash address.

If you're using a hardware wallet, connect your wallet, open the Zcash app, and go to the "Receive" section to find your address.
