Emma KYC process

As a financial services provider, we are required to verify the identity of all of our customers. This process is known as Know Your Customer (KYC) Checks.

As part of this process, we may ask you for additional documents before you can start investing or open Pots with Emma.

We may ask you to provide us with two types of documents: proof of your identity and proof of your current address.

To avoid delays in processing your KYC documents, please make sure that all documents you submit are in date, there is no glare or blur obscuring any details of your documents and that all four corners of the documents are visible in the photos you submit.

We accept the following proof of identity documents:

  • Passport
  • UK or EEA Driving Licence
  • National EEA Identity Card
  • UK Biometric Residence Permit

We accept the following proof of address documents:

  • Utility bill or statement
  • Personal bank account statement
  • UK photo card driving licence
  • HMRC correspondence which includes your National Insurance Number
  • DWP correspondence which includes your National Insurance Number

You cannot use your driving licence as both your proof of identity and proof of address

Proof of address documents must have been issued within the last 3 months
