My income is in the wrong category
If you work for a large company that supplies good or services that could be allocated to another category, your income can be categorised as this too.
e.g. if you work for Thames Water, your income might be categorised as 'bills'. If you work for Avanti West Coast railway, your income might be categorised as 'transport'. If you work for Sky TV, your income might be categorised as 'entertainment'.
You can amend this category by following the instructions below.
Select the transaction you'd like to change the category of
Tap on the Category button underneath the transaction name
Select the Income category
Select Check similar transactions to apply this category to your other income transactions
Select all the transactions that you'd like to change
Click on Apply edit at the bottom of the screen
That's it! Emma learns what category a transaction should be in usually after 3-4 changes. So, if you have 4 months of your income transactions changed, Emma will know that this is your income.
