Rename a transaction

This feature is available on Emma Pro and Emma Ultimate 🐻
You may need to rename a transaction if the transaction name provided by your bank isn't quite right.

To rename a transaction, follow the steps below:

Renaming a transaction

Go to Emma Feed tab
Go to Recent transactions section and click See All
Select the transaction you'd like to rename from your transactions list - you can use the search icon in the top right corner of the screen to help you locate it
Click the Rename button in the top right corner of the transaction screen
Make your desired changes and click Save this name
Click Apply edit to 1 transaction

Renaming multiple transactions

Select the transaction you'd like to rename from your transactions list
Click the Rename button in the top right corner of the transaction screen
Make your desired changes and click Save this name
Select all transactions you'd like to apply the changes to from Similar transactions list
Click Apply edit to X transactions
