My Rent Reporting is not tracking
Our Rent Reporting feature tracks your rent payments based on: the amount, the reference, the bank accounts, and the date of payment.
If any of these elements change, it can mean that your rent payments won't be detected and reported.
If your rent increases, or you change the bank account that you pay from/ to, you'll need to let us know so that we can continue to report it for you.
You can update your Rent Reporting on the Emma app to ensure that we have the right details.
If you see that your Rent Reporting is not tracking and you're not sure why, please try updating your details as the reference on the transaction may have changed.
For those who pay rent manually, and add the month of the rent payment into the reference (e.g. John Smith Flat 221b January), you may need to update your Rent Reporting details each month.
At Emma we want to make things easy, so this isn't the best way to use our Rent Reporting feature! We would suggest removing the month from your reference and keeping it generic (e.g. just John Smith 221b)
You don't need to pay your rent on exactly the same day each month, but roughly around the same time each month is best for us to track it.
If you have a different agreement with your landlord to pay rent early or at a different time, please update your Rent Reporting on Emma to let us know
