Switch from App Store / Google Play to direct billing
if you have received some Emma credits for referring a friend to Emma, you will need to have a subscription direct with us to apply them! Please follow the instructions below to move from an App Store / Google Play subscription to using your Emma credits directly with us.
Part 1: Cancel your billing with Apple/ Google
- Open the Apple Settings app
- Tap your name
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select your Emma subscription
- Tap Cancel Subscription - you may need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button
- Open the Google Play app
- Tap your icon at the top right
- Tap Payments and Subscriptions
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select your Emma subscription
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions
Part 2: Start your direct billing
*You will not be able to start a subscription direct with us until your subscription through Apple or Google has ended.
- Open the Emma App
- Go to the Feed (main dashboard) in the Emma app
- Select your profile in the top left
- Tap on your plan tile on the left (e.g. "Emma Free")
- Tap on Manage
- Tap on Upgrade
