What are fractional shares?

A share is a unit of a company stock. A fractional share is a smaller piece of one whole share of a company stock. Purchasing a fractional share means that instead of owning one full share of a company stock, you own a fraction of one 🥧

Purchasing fractional shares allows you to invest in companies, whose shares may otherwise be unobtainable due to high full share prices.
