Why are you charging me £1 for a free trial?

You may notice a temporary £1 pre-authorisation when starting your free trial. This is used to verify your payment method and help keep accounts secure. It is not an actual charge.

The £1 hold is automatically released by your bank and will usually disappear from your account within a few days, depending on your bank’s processing times.

If the subscription or free trial is not cancelled before the end of the trial period, it will automatically continue as a paid subscription and the standard subscription fee will apply.
