Can I add multiple Starling accounts to Emma?

Adding multiple Starling accounts to Emma


If you have more than one Starling account, such as a Personal, Joint, or Business account, you may only see one Starling account when you first connect Starling to Emma.


This happens because of how Starling handles account connections inside the Starling app.


To add another Starling account to Emma, you need to create a separate Starling connection for each account.


Before you start, open the Starling app and make sure you are viewing the Starling account you want to connect.



How to add another Starling account


  1. Open Emma.
  2. Go to the Feed tab.
  3. Tap Add account below your account balances.
  4. Choose either Add personal account or Add business account.



Adding a Starling (Individual) account


To add a Starling account:


  1. Tap Add personal account.
  2. Use the search bar to search for Starling.
  3. Select Starling Bank.
  4. You will be redirected to the Starling app.
  5. In the Starling app, make sure you select the correct Personal account.
  6. Follow the remaining connection steps.


Once completed, your Starling Personal account will appear in Emma.



Adding a Starling Joint account


To add a Starling Joint account:


  1. Tap Add personal account.
  2. Use the search bar to search for Starling.
  3. Select Starling Joint.
  4. You will be redirected to the Starling app.
  5. In the Starling app, make sure you select the correct Joint account.
  6. Follow the remaining connection steps.


Once completed, your Starling Joint account will appear in Emma.



Adding a Starling Business account


To add a Starling Business account:


  1. Tap Add business account.
  2. Use the search bar to search for Starling.
  3. Select the Starling Business option.
  4. You will be redirected to the Starling app.
  5. In the Starling app, make sure you select the correct Business account.
  6. Follow the remaining connection steps.


Once completed, your Starling Business account will appear in Emma.



Important


Make sure you select the correct Starling account inside the Starling app during the connection process. Emma can only connect to the Starling account selected for that specific connection.


If you want to add more than one Starling account, repeat the steps above for each account.


For example, if you have a Personal account, a Joint account, and a Business account, you will need to add Starling three separate times in Emma.
