When you connect a joint account to Emma all transactions from both of the cardholders will be included in your budgeting and analytics. Unfortunately, the joint account providers do not include any data for us to establish what transaction was made by each of the cardholders so we cannot filter the spending on the joint account. In Emma, you can track a range of accounts or assets in Emma to get an overview of your total Net Worth. Adding a bank account To add an account to Emma, follow these steps: Go to the Feed tab i.e Emma's home page Tap Add account at the bottom of your account balances Select what type of account you'd like to add (Personal / Business / Offline Account) Locate your account provider and follow the onscreen instructions to connect πPopularDelete a bank account

If you have an account in Emma that you don't want to be included in your analytics, mark it as hidden. You can let Emma know if you've set up an overdraft with your bank, and to specify your overdraft amount. If you're not able to see UK banks when setting up your account, it's likely Emma thinks you're out of the UK and will automatically show you US banks. This usually happens if you have a VPN or ad blocker installed on your phone (or you're in the US π). Renew my 90 day bank access π¬π§
Our connection to your bank through the Open Banking system only lasts 90 days before access must be renewed. Under Open Banking regulations, every 90 days you need to reconnect to your bank accounts to Emma. It's to make sure you're still happy to use the service. Your account balance not looking right? Follow the steps below to solve it π 1. Manually sync your accounts If you're in the UK, the first step is to manually sync all your accounts. If you are having issues connecting to your bank, the best way to check if everything is working correctly is to try to login via your online banking (via your bank's website, not their mobile app). After you have logged in to your online banking successfully, try again to login to Emma. Do not make multiple attempts in a row otherwise your bank might block the account temporarily. In order to use Emma, you will need to connect a current, savings or credit card account first.
