Renew my 90-day bank access 🇬🇧

For security reasons, your connection to your bank through Open Banking lasts 90 days.

Under Open Banking regulations, you’ll need to renew access every 90 days to confirm you’re still happy for Emma to access your accounts.

Each time you renew, the 90-day period restarts. You can also renew early at any time.

My 90-day access has ended

• Select Let’s fix this on your Feed tab
• Select Renew access under the bank that needs renewing
• Follow the steps on your bank’s website or app
• Once complete, you’ll be redirected back to Emma

Your access should now be renewed. 🐻

I want to renew my access early

• Go to the Feed tab
• Select your profile picture in the top left corner
• Tap Account, then select Bank Logins
• Under the bank you want to renew, select Renew access
• Complete the steps with your bank

You’re all set. 🐻

I want to renew multiple banks at once

• Go to the Feed tab
• Select your profile picture in the top left corner
• Tap Account, then select Bank Logins
• Select Renew all at the bottom of the page
• Tap Confirm

Done! 🐻

Why can’t I renew all banks at once?

Some banks have moved to a newer regulation that removes the 90-day reauthentication requirement.

If a bank is missing from the Renew all page, it means they are still in the process of migrating. You’ll need to renew access individually using one of the methods above.
