Add money to a Pot

Depositing directly into a Pot

You can deposit funds directly into an Emma Pot — you no longer need to add money to an Emma Wallet first.

1. Tap the Save tab.
2. Tap the Pot you'd like to add funds to.
3. Tap Deposit.
4. Choose One-off deposit.
5. Enter your deposit amount and tap Continue.
6. You'll be redirected to your bank app to finalise the transfer.

How long will my deposit take?

If you're depositing for the first time, your deposit can take a little while to process — from a few minutes to 2 full days if initiated on the weekend. Your subsequent deposits will be processed within a couple of hours at most, usually within minutes.

If you still have an Emma Wallet balance

If you have an existing balance in your Emma Wallet, you can move it into a Pot instead:

1. Tap the Save tab.
2. Tap the Pot you'd like to add funds to.
3. Tap Deposit.
4. Choose One-off deposit.
5. Tap the bank account shown at the top and select Emma Wallet.
6. Enter your deposit amount and tap Continue.
