How do I change my autosave?
Emma's autosaves are small weekly amounts collected from your primary bank account and moved to your Emma Wallet and Emma pots.
Yes! You can use one rule at a time, have two running at once, or use all three!
Open the Emma App
Navigate to the Save tab
Tap Autosave
Tap the saving rule that you'd like to change.
Toggle it on or off, then set up the rule :)
Yes! The allocation is how you want the money to be deposited in Emma.
The Funds can either go into your Emma Wallet or any of your pots; you can also select the percentage of funds you want to allocate. For example, 30% to Emma Wallet and 70% to an Easy Access Pot.
The Pot allocation is set the first time you enable autosaves in Emma, however, you can also modify this at anytime.
Open the Emma App
Navigate to the Save tab
Tap Autosave
Tap on Allocation - this is located in the Collection details section
Not at the moment. Autosaves have a fixed weekly frequency.
The Emma App will notify of the upcoming collection every Sunday and will give you 24 hours to cancel the instruction before it is requested on Monday afternoon.
The amount to be saved is then collected on Wednesday and will land in your Emma Pot on Friday.
UK Bank Holidays will delay this timeframe
Yes! You can change which bank the autosave is collected from. The rules will still apply to all your connected accounts in Emma, so these won't change.

Tap Autosave
Tap Change next to your account details
Select your new account and confirm setting up the Direct Debit
Scroll down to view the Direct Debit Guarantee and tap Continue
Check your details and tap Continue
Review and confirm, then tap Continue
Direct Debits can take between 3 to 10 days to set up with your bank. We won't be able to process your autosave collections during this time.
Yes! You can change whether we collect autosave payments when you are in your overdraft. If you're not in your overdraft, we won't take a payment that will put you in it. But, if you're finding it hard ti break the reliance on your overdraft, you can continue saving when in your overdraft.

Select Yes or No
