What is my 4-digit passcode?

The 4-digit passcode is the one you set when signing up to Emma for the first time.

Your 4-digit passcode is used to unlock Emma every time you open it, unless you use biometrics.

For UK 🇬🇧 users, your passcode is also used for initiating buy and sell operations in Emma Invest.

How do I change my passcode?

To change your Emma passcode, follow these steps:

Go to the Feed tab
Select your profile picture in the top left-hand corner
Select Change passcode

What do I do if I have forgotten it?

If you are shown the passcode screen when opening the app

This means you are logged in to the app, you can just tap on Forgot in the bottom left-hand corner when presented with the screen to unlock the app.

An email will be sent to the email address linked to your Emma account with a link where you can reset your passcode.

If you don't receive this email, be sure to check your junk mail. If you don't see the email in your junk mail, reach out to our Support team via chat in your Emma app on the passcode screen.

If you are not logged into the app

If you are not logged in the app and you are trying to log back in, you will need to reach out to customer support.

You can do this by tapping Forgot on the passcode screen.

Please make sure to leave the email address you used to register to Emma so we can get back to you via chat with the next instructions.
