Why does Barclays show a OBA19 or OBA28 error?

After registering for Barclays Mobile Banking, some features are only available once you’ve been using the app for at least 10 days.


If you try to connect your accounts to Emma using Open Banking within those 10 days, you may see an OBA19 or OBA28 error code.


If you switch to a new phone, the 10-day waiting period will apply again before you can use Open Banking features.
