  If your rent is paid directly from your Universal Credit payments, you won't be able to report it through Emma. Emma detects the rent transactions in your linked bank accounts to report them to Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. • My Rent Reporting is not tracking

  Our Rent Reporting feature tracks your rent payments based on: the amount, the reference, the bank accounts, and the date of payment. If any of these elements change, it can mean that your rent payments won't be detected and reported. • Can I report more than one rent payment?

  You can only report one rent payment with Emma. This needs to be the rent for where you currently live. You can't report rent for a business address, or for somewhere that isn't your main residential residence. if you aren't currently paying rent at your residential address, you can ignore the Rent Reporting section of the app.Few readers

• Can I report my mortgage through rent reporting?

  No, you can't report your mortgage via our Rent Reporting feature. If you pay rent and a mortgage, you don't need to report your rent with us. Mortgages are already reported to credit reference agencies, so you don't need to report them through us. You also don't need to report your rent in addition to having a mortgage.Few readers

• Can I report rent paid from a joint account?

  Yes, rent paid from a joint account can be reported through Emma. If your rent contract is in both your and the joint holder's names, you can both report your rent. You will need to both have a premium Emma subscription to report you rent under both your names. If just one person is reporting rent via Emma this will only show in their credit history, not both renters'.
