How do I add a payday?
This works the same for 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦. Payday helps you sync all your budgets to a specific date. This will also enable you to track how many days are left to your next pay. You can set up Payday in two ways, either directly from the feed or in the Analytics tab. What are tags?
Tags are a quick way to separate transactions within high level categories. A quick and easy example would be creating tags like #train #flight and #fuel for transactions under the category 'Transport'. How do I add a note to a transaction?
Adding a note to a transaction is extremely easy with Emma. See instructions below: Click on the transaction. Click on "Add Note". Type your note. Click on Save. The note will show on the transaction page. How to edit an existing note In this case the process is similar. Instead of clicking on "Add note", which should have disappeared, click on the existing note to edit it.
What are split transactions?
Split transactions is a feature available in Emma Pro. With this feature you can split a transaction multiple times and put each amount under different categories. An example of this would be buying groceries and fuel at a petrol garage. Well now you can split the transaction and put one amount under groceries and one under transport. We created this feature so that you can budget more accurately. 💪
How do I add a receipt to a transaction?
Emma lets you add receipts to your transactions so you can keep on top of your spending and track expenses! How do I change a merchant logo?
If a merchant logo is showing up incorrectly or is not being recognised because they are a small indpendant store, you can do the following: Click the transaction which has the wrong logo Scroll to the bottom Select 'Help us improve the logo and name!' I can't find a transaction?

Where can I find my bank fees?
To see how much you're paying in bank fees, follow the steps below Go to the More tab Select Bank Fees If you have bank fees that aren't showing, send us a screenshot of the bank fees that are missing via chat (More tab > Support > Chat to a human). Our team can then update Emma's bank fees database. Down with bank fees! 💪
Add, edit or remove tags
Adding Tags There are scenarios where Emma might not be able to detect any tags. In this case, you can still add your own tags. However the edit button won't be there. You can click the three dots on the top right of the transaction page. This will open a menu at the bottom with an option to add your own tags. Editing and Removing Tags Emma automatically assigns custom tags to your transactions. If you want to edit a tag, simply click on the pencil icon next to the tag to make change
Rename a transaction

Amend pending transactions
Why can't I amend pending transactions? Because pending transactions are temporary and the date, name or amount of the transaction can change when it's posted, it's a challenge to accurately track which transactions you've made changes to and apply these changes. We want to get it right so you won't be able to amend pending transactions just yet. Don't despair! We know it's a big challenge but Emma is always getting better so keep an eye out as things might change in the future 😉 Note: O
