Why does Barclays show a OBA19 or OBA28 error?
After registering for Barclays Mobile Banking, some features are only available once you’ve been using the app for at least 10 days. If you try to connect your accounts to Emma using Open Banking within those 10 days, you may see an OBA19 or OBA28 error code. Why do I need to connect a bank account to Emma?
Emma helps you with your finances by connecting directly to your bank account. It is not possible to use Emma without connecting to at least one account. Without connecting to your bank account, you'd need to do things manually which is something we wanted to avoid when we built Emma! By connecting your accounts, we can automatically import new transactions and account balances keeping your budget up-to-date.
